Yesterday I did a 10k race to support Anti-Bullying and I am proud to say I did not die! The weather was kind to us and, while is true I’m not known to be an athlete, it was very inspiring to be among others who support the cause.
I often forget that there is support out there, that there are people who care about the things that are important to you too. And while is good to make a difference one act of kindness at a time, sometimes when one isolates oneself is easy to get overwhelmed and lose track of the bigger picture.
It is good to be reminded that there are strengths in numbers and that one just needs to reach out to feel like together we are truly making a difference. Thank you, Charles J. Conde, for such a motivational, joyful and overall wonderful day.
